Warrior owner here and quite happy with it. I shopped for it for over a year and while price was a leading factor, service and reputation were larger. You will find many posts on warriors here by doing a search. One of the common threads will be that warriors aren't the fastest boat on the lake, but they do catch fish! Do yourself a favor and find a reputable dealer and schedule a test ride if possible.

I've been running a Warrior since 2002. I have nothing but good things to say about the boat and the customer service. It is probably the smoothest riding boat that I have been in. Even when it gets choppy. I know that when I did have a couple of questions about the boat they were willing to take time to talk to me. I love the fact that you can call the factory and talk directly to the owners. It really is comforting. As for engine size on the boats, most will come pre-rigged unless you order them otherwise. I would talk to a dealer and take their recommendation on engine size. You really cannot go wrong with a Warrior.

My brother Kenneth is on his 2nd season with his Warrior Eagle V2121 here on Little Bay de Noc. He has a 300 HP Fourstroke Suzuki on the back. So far, not one complaint! The folks at Warrior do a great job designing boats for fishing. I don't know what model you are looking at, but I'm sure you will be happy with a Warrior. By the way, the Suzuki has been awesome too. Back to the boat, the storage is unbelievable. Awesome ride too. But the biggest thing we like is how much room there is behind the console. You can actually swivel the seats side-ways with plenty of legroom when you want to vertically jig over the side. If you have any other questions, feel free to send me a pm.

I have been fishing out of warrior boats since 2002, I bought my first one this year, (1891sc) have fished out of a 166 and 2121.

Ive riden, driven and been in alot of boats, i have noticed some of warriors strongest points are...

they have great weight distribution throughout the whole boat, and plane out excellent. The 2121 is a super smooth dry ride in even 4-5ftr's

my 1891sc is not the dryest ride, but its a nice strong hull with a smooth ride. Warrior does a good job working with a customer when having your boat ordered from the factory.

They make a solid boat.
