Having a bit of trouble mounting the flush mount on the top gunale of my Alumacraft TS, pleanty of width so I figured piece of cake...uh huh sure.

All is well until I screw down the mounting bolts and then the rod holder won't go in.. loosen the bolts and it works fine ... help????

Appears holes are lined up but wondering if the carpet is causing problems?

Or I just screwed up somewhere?

EDIT....Just called Folbe, he says my hole is to small....er...mounting hole that the mount fits into.. nice guy to talk to btw.

Latest edit.....yup hole was just a hair to small, enlarged it slightly and they work fine :)
