I've got springfield power pedestals in my boat. One of them automatically goes down when I sit on it and then it will automatically come up when I'm not sitting on it.

Anyone know if this can be fixed or is it time to replace it?

not sure about fixing it but I do have a couple for sale that are brand new, if you are interested

If this is the pedastel I am thinking of, there is an adjustment screw on the top of the pedastel itself. You need to remove the seat to get at this adjustment screw. It takes a little bit of "fine tuning" to get it set just right.
