Does anyone know where I can order, for a lack of a better term, "boat seat covers"? When I put my boat cover on, I don't want my boat seats rubbing on the cover of my boat from the inside while trailering. I tried putting towels on the seats to cover them. I even put garbage bags on the seats, but they tear after awhile. I'm looking for something a little more "thicker" and a little more "handier". I've even wondered about making (or I should say having my lovely wife make) my own to fit the seats. Can't be that hard, right? Anyone have any thoughts, websites, blueprints, etc... Thanks!

Try Cabelas or Overtons, one of those two places or both carry's some seat covers. Making the with a draw string is a good idea...put her to work. LOL

My wife made some seat covers out of beach towels. She wanted them for the hot days so the seat isn't "sticky" and hot on her bare legs. The beach towels are the perfect length to make a complete cover. She sewed them to fit snug, cut off the excess material and folded them inside out. Nice custom look. Think of a pillow case slid over the top and one slid over the seat, just sewn together...if that makes sense?

When I had my top set made I asked my local canvas maker to make seat covers out of the same rain proof material. She made them out of left over peices from my top set with elastic around the bottom to hold them snug. This keeps my seats clean and dry.
