I bought an Abu Garcia Ambassadeur C3 series reel last year. I wish that I had purchased a left handed reel instead of the right handed reel. A friend of mine that knows every thing, seen every thing and done every thing says that I can swap it around to make it a lefty. I hate to start taking it apart just to find out that you can’t. Can anyone tell me if this is true or not. Thanks

My C-3 is a casting reel, no you cant switch it. good luck and good fishin.

No way Jose. When you tell him it can't be done and he wants to argue, tell him you'll bet him the cost of a lefty that he can't do it. that should shut him up.
