Not sure what the tire pressure should be on the following:

Goodyear Marathon St215/75R14 Trailer tires...Load Range C... Max Load (1870 lbs) at 350 KPA (50psi) cold.

This is all the info I could read on the tires. I am assuming 45 to 50psi???

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Your assumtion is right.
For myself, I would run them at 50psi. because I am usually close to max load.

Yep, 50 is the way to go. I run max all the time.

But check out HRG's attachment Cat. If you tow above 65 - like most of us do - Goodyear said in 2006 to put them up to 60 psi. I think it's especially important if you're near your max capacity.

I've had Marathon blowouts on my last two trips to Canada. Just today picked up my new spare from Goodyear and asked them about the tech bulletin HRG posted. They knew nothing about it and weren't real helpful in verifying if the Goodyear recommendations are still in effect.

I head back up to LOTW next week and am going to push my tires to 60 psi. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Nothing more exciting than a trailer tire shredding at 70 mph.

then dont do 70 lol

I never trailer that fast.

I have never had a blowout on a trailer tire either. And I have been towing boats since 1978

Very simply, put in enough air to make the tires round and not have excess sidewall bulge.
Take care

this question seem to go round and round. ....I run mine at about 40to 45 psi. "my" understanding is that inflation psi. should match the load weight. Looking at the Good year chart is were I got my #'s from. I found the tire's were wearing uneaven, more in the middle at 50 psi.. But that's just me.

What is your recommended tire pressure on the sticker inside trailer tongue y?

Not sure but I'll bet it say's 50psi.............but that is for the max load for the trailer and im not even close. The goodyr chart has psi for weight info. I went by that.
