Just wondering if anyone has used or considered using pork baits for Walleye. Being a butcher by trade, I figured I'd try making some of my own, but I don't want to waste my time if it's going to turn off the fish. I figured a nice black leech-looking critter should do the trick. Any thoughts?? E-mail me at: Gunpowder@canoemail.com

I don't know why it wouldn't work. If they're feeding agressively, they'll eat most anything. On Big Stone last year, my brother caught them on a 1/8 oz fireball jig and a 2 inch piece of red licorice!
