I have found that the Toronto boat show(Jan. 9-18) has the most tin boats on display of any boat show. There are at least 100 tin boats on display. Lund almost has their whole line up there, and it's all in one booth. The last time I went to the Minneapolis boat show, the Lund boats were scattered around, because they were at different dealers booths.
It made it confusing to compare the different Lund models because they were all over the show.
It's fun to see the Seattle boat show because the tin boats there are much heavier and beefier. They are mostly welded and use 1/4" thick aluminum. They are more for offshore use in the Pacific Ocean, and shooting the rapids on rivers in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
It's a shame that I live right near the 2 largest boat shows in the world; Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show at the end of Oct. and the Miami Beach Boat Show on President's weekend in Feb., but the only tin boats they have on display are 100 foot long custom aluminum yachts.
