As water temps start to fall below 70 what are your favorite types of Lures and colors. I am finding my fish are moving back in to the shallows and are locating on both the inside and outside edge of remaining weeds. Weagles and Bucktails seem to be the ticket. Trolling has not been very effective except right on the edges. Talonz

I'll fish jerkbaits, crankbaits & bucktails right thru until freeze up.Here's a few that have been very productive over the years---
Jerkbaits: 8"Reef Hawg(chart/blk dots)
9"Suick(black)
6"Grandma(shad)
Crankbaits:#22 Rapala(redhead)
10" Believer(perch)
Baby Shallow Rader(redhorse)
Bucktails:9"Eagle Tail(gold/brown)
7"Harasser(gold/yellow)
#5 Mepps(silver/blk)
For night fishing I like to cast a Top Rader(baby loon) or Globe(red swirl) or sometimes use live suckers on a quick strike harness. These are just my favourites.Whatever method you choose Musky fishing in the fall is just plain fun. Good Luck.
