Has anyone had any success running either or both, "Way of the Walleye" or "Fishing Hotspots" software On Windows 2000, or Windows XP professional?

Any help or comments would be appreciated.

The Fishing Hot Spots Digital Map Series was introduced before widespread use of Windows 2000 and certainly before XP. The program will run on a 2000 box, I know because the one on my desk does it, with a couple quirks in the printing, but operationally, it's fine. The software doesn't stand a chance on XP...or Me for that matter.

Will we upgrade to fit these new operating systems? No. There's no room left on the CD's to accommodate these ever-changing systems and it's more important for us to include map data than programming.

We're exploring other avenues, but right now if you have a Windows 95 or 98 box, enjoy some of the best planning software out there for fishing! Good luck on the water...

My home computer has XP Professional and both versions of XP are starting to become the norm on new systems. An upgrade would help to keep you in the game.
