I have 115 mercury with a merc black max 19 pitch prop, rpm's right where they should be. speed is 39 to 41 gps
to go with a trophy plus 4 blade should I stay with 19 pitch or drop to 17 pitch ?

When you switch from aluminum to stainless you need to go down 1 pitch and you will need to go down another pitch for the extra blade. 17 trophy will work great.

Forget the Trophy!
They suck on a walleye hull.

I'm running nearly the same rig if you run a 17 pitch stainless your going to be pulling too many rpm's, mine ran 5500 with the 17 did 41 mph wot. I went with 20 pitch laser II and took plugs out of it running 5100 rpm's trimmed up and getting 44 mph full livewell and two people. Trophy II seemed to lift the whole boat higher but didn't have much midrange punch. A lot of people told me the laser wasn't a very good prop but I bought it right (125.00) on eBay no complaints.

Forget a 4 blade prop-you will be miserable with it on this boat. The 13"dia.X18" pitch Vengeance is probably the best match for this boat. It is a 3 blade stainless and should work much better than any 4 blade, especially on top end. You will just have to try it, but this is probably your best bet.

Yes just about any ss 3 blade will go faster then a 4 blade, But if your looking for slower trolling speeds, better midrange cruising, better planing, or if your have 4 guys and gear in the boat their the only way to go. You got to ask your self what are you looking for your boat to do?
