I heard from a buddy that you can buy a rod locker latch from someone other than Lund. Does anyone know where to get these?

Your buddy is correct. Lund doesn't make the latches.
But if you are only buying one or two... how much do you really expect to save by avoiding the Lund Dealer?

If you are inquiring about lockable latches too, my choice woule be the Perko flush mount lockable latches. And as T-Mac said check your local Lund (marine) dealer because his price will probably be cheaper with taxes, than by the time you pay for shipping for a small order.
