Does anyone have any experience with these units...When the main engine is running, your main battery is charged to 13.7 volts.then it starts charging your trolling motor batteries...Thanks...Tom

I installed one verdict still out. the problem if the engine battery is below 13.7 it does not charge at all. Remenber you are full charged going out so no benefit and on the way back you are done fishing so? Sometime we camp with no electricity for 3 or 4 days and thats when it did charge my trolling motor batteries while tubing the kids during the heat of the day but not to full charge you have to run the boat 4 to 6 straight hours to full charge them but it did help me make it almost three days. But if you fish during day and have a place to charge at night I would not get one. Just my thoughts.
