I have a 2002 V Max, 225 hp. The motor slowly falls, the trim and tilt motor seems to be bad. Is there an easy fix to look at before installing new T&T motor?

check the manual tilt screw on the motors left hand side make sure it is tight

That is the first thing I did, it is tight.

What do you mean "slowly" falls? Is the trim motor running both ways? Any external leaks?
Is the tilt/trim system full and bled? This is the most common cause.
