I am having difficultty loading my 619 on the trailer. The only way I can get the bow eye on the roller is to power load the boat on to it. If I back off the boat slips back and the rope latch catches the roller and the eye is about a 11/2 inch away. The boat is tight, but over time I feel the latch won't hold up. I have tried all different levels in the water for the trailer, but i just can't seem to get it. Any ideas would be appreciated. Jim

I was having problems getting my boat all the way up also. I had the bow support roller lowered one notch and that help a lot. May not be the answer for yours, but an easy thing to try.

I have a 617 and it all depends on the ramp. What I make sure is to leave the long bunk tips towards the truck with about 3 to 6 inches above the water. I also make sure that the side pads are out of the water to guide boat on trailer. The side pads can not be under water or the boat will float onto the top of them. (N0t a good deal)
If I cannot get the boat to load up to the roller where I want it I then must put my hand onto the trolling motor shaft and go over the right front side putting my foot onto the trailer and then winch the rest of the way. I don't know if you have a pick up but I put my tail gate down and then set on the tail gate to do the winching.
It seems like the water levels are low in my area and the ramps are getting worse from alot of guys really putting the power on to load therefore causing alot of prop wash outs.
Ranger makes a SUPER trailer and the more you load the more you will apreciate the Ranger Trailer. Take a look at how the trailer actually guides the boat on nice and level and fits very precise.
Don't be ashamed if you have to hand winch the last few inches, that's just the way it is sometimes.

Howdy,
I have a new 619 and am having the same problem. With my past Rangers I could always get the eye snug to the roller. On this boat, the best that I can do is 1 1/2 inches to the roller. Is lowering the roller the solution? Is there another fix? Is this something that you just have to live with?
Thanks,
Ruddiger

very nice, I was looking to get something small like that to use as a demo trailer, what did you end up paying for the setup, just the trailer??

I was having the same problem with my 619. I tried powering it on the trailer and it would slide bacl down the trailer. Finally what I did was load the boat as far as you can on the trailer. Next winch the boat the rest of the way up. Once the boat and eyelet meet up, I get in the truck and back the trailer in the water a ways. This helps the boat move up on the trailer and relieves some of the tension on the winch and eyelet. Doing this has kept my boat hull from banging on the roller when trailing
