'Lo all,
I have a remote '05 Merc 9.9 Pro Kicker on a 1800 ProV. Love it and works great. However, for the last 2 springs, I've had to have it taken into the dealer to be "looked at" due to basically a "gummy" carb or not running smoothly. Both motors use the same main tank and I always have Seafoam in the gas. The reason I don't winterize it in the fall is because I live in SW Missouri and like to get out during the winter to vertically jig for Walleyes and/or Crappie. Here's the question finally, can I somehow drain the carb without a lot of fuss or something along those lines? Thanks in advance for any and all ideas you may have. I do have all of the fluids changed and it's taken care of regularly.
