Hi
There has been very little angling pressure so far this week - especially for walleye. Most of the people we've seen up to this point are chasing perch. The walleye that have been taken are coming from 7-10 feet of water over the rocks. Use a slip bobber/leech and a pink jig. The perch bite requires a ton of sorting, but you can usually keep enough for a meal. Isle and Wahkon are your 2 top spots in 5-7 feet. Fatheads are the bait of choice. Muskie action has been mostly follows (again) this week. Some of the fish have made a transition to "rockier" areas.
Yes, we still have big leeches!

The weather for the weekend (from the National Weather Service) looks like this:
Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. South wind between 10 and 13 mph.
Friday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. Calm wind becoming north between 6 and 9 mph.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 68. North northwest wind between 7 and 10 mph.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 46.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66.
The new moon is 9-29-08.

Don't forget to check out our weekly "shop special" at http://www.lundeens.com/shop.html .
Finally, A pipe burst in a doctor's house, and he called a plumber. The plumber arrived, unpacked his tools, did mysterious plumber-type things for a while, and handed the doctor a bill for $600. The doctor exclaimed, "This is ridiculous! Even I don't make that much as a doctor!" The plumber waited for him to finish and quietly said, "Neither did I when I was a doctor."
Have a great weekend,
