I have the navionics great lakes chip and they sent me the free fish n chip to use with it, but there were no directions on how to use it. Do I load both chips in my lcx 19c ?

Assuming there are 2 slots, You can use it with a HotMaps but not with a Navionics Gold chip(great lakes), you also have to go in to Map Data menu and choose the area you're fishing on that FishNchip .
