I was at the Lund dealer meeting earlier this month, and was fortunate to see some new product coming out for the upcoming season. The new totally redesigned 2075 Pro V in a IFS and a tiller were there. The IFS maxed out with a 300 and the tiller with a 250, and the storage and layout was revolutionary, and they just keep coming up with ideas that are so useful and different from what we see everyday in fishing boats. There are storage compartments on top of the gunwales that slide open on either side of the boat, and a host of drawers that make for really practical easy to access storage. The bow area can rival any on the market for depth and ease of access too. The tiller is really neat with it's electronics console that stows the units inside (In a James Bond kinda cool way) and then can be moved in or out of the rear portside corner in the boat depending on where you would like it situated in front of you for leg room or easy reach. I know that there will be a lot of guys out there that absolutely loved their Pro V's before the 2075 (and soon to come 1975 - the heir to the 1900 throne) came along and they will love the new Pro V even more. There was a post about this and a video with Gary Roach and it seemingly disappeared.

it probably got dusted due to the link to another Walleye site. Google "Lund 2075" for the video.

I would like to see the 2075 or are you talking about the 2025's.

I've got to believe the posting of the video made a mistake and called it a 2075. The Lund web site only shows 2025's, SE and Tiller as available for 2009. They discontinued the LE models. As for a 1975, still a 1900 and a 1900 is really 19' 7" long already. So I am sticking with the Lund 2009 website showroom as the correct listing of 2009 models.

That's a possibility, but the 2025 tiller shown on the web site has a small drivers-side console (like the old Mr. Walleye model from years ago), the boat in the video (2075?) did not.

The change in model #'s comes in an attempt of going back to model identifiers relating to the length of the boat bow to stern. The new 2075 just means the boat is now 20 and 3/4 feet long compared to the the 20 and 1/2 foot models your used to. The old numbering system related to the length and the max h.p. you could run on that model boat. Thus, the the 2025's were first named because it was a 20ft boat that could be maxed out with a 225 h.p. (20-25) . It just ended up staying that way even though they went through h.p. max increases over the years up to a 275, because 2025 became synonymous with the Lund brand. Almost a brand within itself. And now they've been re-rated again to the 300 h.p. rating.
Don't look for a whole lotta info until closer to the 1st of the year when they're released to manufacturing. I'm sure the boys were busting tail during DM to get all the photos for the promo materials the JMC is probably working on right now.

Paul and the boys did a really great job with the new command center on the tiller though. Very Very neat indeed.

KJK, thanks for clearing the issue. It does make more sense now.

I did notice the counsole on the tiller 2075 on Lund website, probably is optional.

They did an awesome job with the 2075. Nice innovative ideas. Dont really care for all the horsepower, personally i don't really need it.

The video is posted on another outdoors site... Impressive boat!!

The details are being finalized and soon all the info on the hulls will be out. There will be a tiller on the water this weekend up at the Vanity Cup in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. I am looking forward to taking it for a drive. Chris K

According to Lund, the beam is 97", and the length is 20' 9"

This is funny. Some of those BBC guys think a 250hp tiller boat might be too fast to handle.

I sure thought that this was a mistake. But that is what they're calling them. The 2075's. I saw the video that Gary Roach was in.

I was just told that lund will be replacing the 2025 and the 1900 with the 2075 and the 1975-and this will begin in january. So the current boat will be dropped and a new model will come out in the same year seems odd. They will be offered in 09.
