Purchased a New Battery Charger.... not an onboard charger... a regular charger to keep in the Garage. It is a 2/10/20 Amp Charger and has a "Reconditioning" Feature where you "Recondition" a Battery for 24 Hours... supposively to bring weak batteries back to life. anyone find this to be useful? I have 3 Batteries in my Boat all charged off a separate Guest On Board CHarger. They are on their 3rd season and Have no problems... I always keep them properly charged. Anyone "Recondition" batteries as maintenance? and see more life?

I don't know what is that but I use it anyways for the past 2 seasons. Any good? I don';t know, but sure it didn't hurt mine so far.......

Most likely, that "reconditioning" setting is an "equalizing charge" for your battery. To learn about equalizing charges:

When I used to pull my batteries out and store them in the basement for the winter, I used a similar charger. Never noticed any difference. Now, I leave the batteries in the boat all winter, and just keep them charged there.
