I am looking to upgrade from a Lowrance 16 ci color graph. I am looking into a higher end unit. I fish alot for salmon and deeper water for walleyes. I was looking into Garmin or Raymarine using one of the multi head units for gps, sonar and radar. Can anyone help.

I don't know anything about Garmin or Raymarine but did just upgrade from an X-18 to an X-27 and am very pleased with the difference. The X-27 has much better visibility in the bright sunlight and a better display overall. It also networks with other the newer units so you can view one sonar's transducer from multiple units.
