Park Rapids Area

I am looking for reccomendations on a lake and resort for late July in the Park Rapids area. My only fishing concern is catching walleyes and the resort must be modern. Thanks in advance.

Try Upper & Lower Bottle Lakes-- full of nice walleyes, plus not too many other boats. Not sure about resorts, though, sorry.

You may want to try Cool Ridge on Big Sand. The lake has had slot restrictions for a couple of years to help improve what was a great walleye lake. That time of year fishing in front of the resort is excellent with lindy's or crank baits 12-16 during the day and longline rapalas at nite. You can get plenty of info off the DNR site.

I second Big Sand. I say it's still a great walleye lake. Put boards on for bigger fish.
