My boat is kept inside but of course over time the cover gets dirty. I tried to use a mild dish soap and soft brush to clean it, it still looked dirty. I would like to reseal the cover, but would like to get the grim off before trying. Was wondering what other members were using to clean the their covers?

Thanks Dawg

Dawg,
If you have a Sunbrella type fabric, you can use a bucket of warm water and mix in some Woolite cleaner along with some bleach. Some of the dirt may actually be mildew, and the bleach should take care of it.
When you are done cleaning it, you can use Aerospace 303 Fabric protector to water proof it.

The outfit that made my cover told me never to use anything with bleach. It can deteriorate any stitching on the cover.

Might be different material of your cover because I use Sunlight Detergent and Power Wash once a year ...... or maybe too long you waited to do the first wash.

My buddy hand sprayed a degreaser & then power washed. Looks like new, before it was almost black. I am planning to do the same to mine. I don't know if it will be hard on the stiching ?
