Guy, you said before you were getting 64 mph with your 200 efi on that fishunter... What prop and did you have a jackplate?
Derwood, it's a Trophy plus 24" with the medium plugs in. Used it on the 200 efi and now on the 225 Pro XS. Can do it because of the different gear ratio of the 225. Usually ran 62 or 63 mph gps with the 200 but that was going light and no kicker and me alone. No jackplate. All's you do with a plate is make the stern sit lower in the water.

Did you try the large plugs, too? I was told by Pat G on BBC to do large plugs. What is your holeshot like and fuel economy. I have the exact rig, but am getting 54mph with the 23P high five. I know that is not a "speed" prop...and I like staying on plane at slower speeds, but I was wondering if my economy would be better. I went through 8 gallons of gas awfully quick, and that was still mostly in the 2800-3200 rpm range. Oh, have you had the Trophy worked, too?
