My local dealer told me that there will be no more Tundras for 2009. I wonder if they got something new for 2009. Anybody know anything?

This is interesting,,,,wonder if they're doing away with it entirely or just changing the name along with design.

The 2009 Tracker Tundra's are in production. They are available for sale too

Tracker/Nitro has produced a 20' glass hull based on the Tundra design, and this boat will be offered for sale as a fish & ski this year. Going forward, perhaps we will see a fishing top cap?

Topwater, I guess you can let your dealer know that he is out of the loop on the tundra.

I'll ask next week when I'm in there but he told me a few weeks ago after the dealer meeting that they were going to quit building them. I see Trackers website hasn't been updated for 09 yet.

I believe they've stopped making the avalanche, which was the bass boat hull version of the pressed ali range. Maybe that's where the confusion comes from?

Definatly not confusing to two Tim, time will tell I guess.

Topwater,

You can take the info in the reply from Jim Carroll to the bank..he's a Tracker Team Pro. Save your speculation about the Tundras future until next year. ;-)

interesting this post came up....i was just in dallas at bass pro and asked if they had any tundra's and the rep said that they quit the production and not sure on their future. something bout how they get the boat in 3 pieces and is very labor intensive for them to get put together. he did say that they have some other ideas for a multi-species boat but nothing definite yet.
