Latest idea...:)

I currently have a Lowrance X510c on the bow, a X27 on the console and a mount and wiring for another X510 on the rear of my boat, I was going to buy another 510 as finances allowed.

What I would like to do is move the 510 to the rear, and add another X27 with the GPS to the bow mount.

Will the two leads that go to the 510 work in a X27?
They are the same color and although I haven't tried them, they appear to be the same.
also can I parallel both units off the same GPS antenna?

Just wondering if anybodies done this and how'd it work with one antenna?

Finally had time to sit on the phone with Lowrance, and actually got right though, did find that you can use one GPS antenna on two gps units, least the two X27's that I want to use.

Just need the hardware to network them.
For anybody who's interested.
