I've always liked the looks of a black boat.
How many of you that have owned one will never get another due to the water stains, rock chips, ect showing up on them compared to other colors.
They sure look sharp, but how much extra work is it to keep them looking nice?

I have a Forest Green Lund. When it's clean it looks great. When it's dirty it looks really bad. Any dark boat requires a ton of cleaning and waxing to keep it looking good. If your into bonding with your rig on a regular basis get the black one. If your not Mr. Clean buy the white one.

I have a black Lund now. It looks dirty after one trip, but if I spend fifteen minutes giving it a quick wash, it looks like a million bucks again.
The Lund is on it's way out. A new Ranger is on it's way in. The new Ranger is black.

I'd get another black boat in a heartbeat. Not much more difficult that the green/tan boat I had. Dirt does show up more, but if you keep it waxed, it cleans up easily and the sharp look pays for the little extra work. ;)

Have a Black/gray 1800 prov with mercs on the back. The only problem is the scum line that forms when its sitting at the dock for a while but that will form on every boat no matter what the color. No big deal to kep it clean and looking great. Was worried about it being hot but its cooler than the red Renegade that this one replaced. Would buy black again without a hesitation.

I'm on my second black boat. No issues with the color showing anymore wear or dirt than anything else. That being said, my boat only gets washed a couple time per year at best. The thought of a white boat scares me...

Once again, Mix yourself up a 50/50 solution of Vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray and wipe, in 15 minutes a black boat and motor look ready for the showroom floor.

Of course, it looks even better with a matching tow vehicle. Having a black boat (car, truck, etc) is just a little more incentive to keep 'er clean.
