The driver's seat pedestal on my '07 620 is really 'soft'. It adjusts up and down just fine but when I sit on it, it compresses at least two inches. It bottoms out on every tiny bump.
When I get up, it comes back up all the way. (I am about 200#) It's not an adjustment issue. (I know about the screw) The passenger side pedestal works fine.
Can these be repaired or rebuilt?
Is this model built especially for Ranger and only available through Ranger?
I purchased a pro-staffers boat, thus am the second owner and don't believe warranty would cover it.

Modog, if you registered your boat to transfer the warranty, the seats should be covered by Ranger.

Really? I didn't know that. I was under the impression that only the hull was covered under the warranty tranfer.

I had 2 pedestals go bad on my boat, they were replaced under warranty, I dealt with it for (actually passengers did) awhile but when my girlfriend said enough is enough I had to take it in to get a new one LOL.

Just came back from a Ranger dealer (Pamp's in Green bay) with a new suspension pedestal to replace a bad one. They looked up my hull ID# and said no problem, grabbed one off the shelf.
I had no idea that the boats second owner could expect that kind of warranty coverage and service.
Thanks Guys

I am glad they took care of you! Ranger is pretty good at covering things under warranty. I have taken my 1850 right to the Ranger plant and had them work on it. The plant is only 33 miles from where I live.

Pamp's is good people. "Straight shooters" and very customer oriented. First class support! Wendy is a fisherman, too, which means she knows first hand about what fishermen are looking for in a boat.
