I have two of the video's and feel like I got my money's worth and more from them. Heidicke, I use the X25 so don't know if this will help or not. 100 % ping speed, 100 % chart speed, I always start at 70 % sensitivity and adjust up or down from there depending on water condition. Keep in mind sensitivity settings can change even hour to hour or location to location or they may stay the same for days or weeks on the same body of water. That is my findings anyway. I'll check the other settings Saturday and post them for you if no one else can help.

I have the 15 MTx also and my settings are the same as crappie said. I would make sure you have the latest version downloaded to your graff though. I had some problems with loosing bottom untill I got the download. You can go to the Lowrance web site and get it free.

I also have the doc sampson vids and they helped a ton. I would and have recomended them to everyone. What kind of problems are you having? I have had two of the 15MTx units now and have had a few issues... Maybe I can help?

I am not displaying fish arches which I understand is quite rare. The depth is accurate fish or what appear to be fish show up as vertical line ( up and down). I have not updated the software in 3 or 4 years. I anm not sure if this is a tranducer problem or a software problem or a setting problem. I have played with the virtual locator that you download from Lowrance.

ok good.... Well the first thing I would do is get the software from Lowrance.com and see if that helps. this would be first because it is FREE...

Like I said I set ping and chart at 100%. Noise rejection I have not had to use in my new boat but I do remember that effecting my fish arches on my last boat.... I rewired the graff to the starting bat and problem went away. Sensitivity and clairity are also settings I run up in the 80% to 100%.
If this does not help than I would suspect you may have a hardware issue. I had one of my 15s crap out on me and Lowrance gave me a swinging deal on a nw (then) 27c. Maybe worth the phone call.

If you have a chance to take a look at the Doc Sampson vids I think you would get allot from them. I know I did.

Good luck and keep us posted.
