Anyone have any experience with Mercury's 4 blade Trophy Sport Prop? Its made for 30 to 60 hp motors. I have a 1660 Pro V tiller with a Mariner 50hp 4 stroke and am looking for more power to get on plane, better midrange, and a little more top speed. I am currently running a 12 pitch 3 blade vengence. If it was a console, it could carry a 115 hp, so its tiller rating at 60 hp makes it pretty underpowered.

Dave, looking at the info you posted over on that EIEIO site, you're in a very similiar situation to what I was in last year. I had a Merc 60 4S on a 17' Lund tiller, and struggled with the same issues. If I were you, I'd talk to a quality prop shop (DAH in Burlington WI comes to mind) about re-working your existing Vengeance. Typically, 4-blade props are slower on the top end, and, IMO, I think you should be looking at "porting" your existing prop to get more slippage during planing, in order to get your motor revving quicker, and in to it's power band.
