Looking for some reliable estimations as to how fast a 175 hp Verado will push a 19 ft. Alumacraft? Not a speed freak, just curious as what could be reasonably expected. Thanks in advance!

Given the weight/power similarity to a 175 Opti on a 1900 Pro-V I'd have to say low 50s.

Alumacraft has 2 performance reports with 2 different 200's on the Trophy 195, and they split 50mph. Look at this thread: http://www.walleyecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146839 #10, Gooch88 has a Lund 1900 ProV/175 Verado, which is very similiar length, beam, weight, and is at 51. Being conservative, I'd say 48.

I have an 1800 Fisherman with a 150 Verado and 9.9 Pro Kicker. I am propped with a Lazer 2 19p and my top speed by GPS is 50 mph with full fuel, tow guys and their tackle. Another guy here has the same boat with a 175 Verado equipped with the same prop in a 21 pitch and claims 57 mph. I haven't asked if his speed is by speedometer ot GPS as I haven't seen him in a long time. I don't know how an 1800 Fisherman compares to your hull.

I'll chime in too, have a 1950 Tyee with a 175 Verado, 48-49 GPS max, have never seen 50, but 49.8 once under optimal conditions. Full of fuel, and 3 guys and gear is 45 mph
