my buddy went all over PA. and bought all the bass pro shops and the dunem shops and all the little tackle shops hot'ntots, he has over 1000 of them in all colors.why is he doing this ,i know this was a good plug but cant it be replaced

The design of this crank was changed. Everyone is looking for the old ones. The new one has a plastic lip. Hopefully your friend did find the old metal lipped ones.

What is the difference? The catalogs say the new plastic lip obsolete's the old metal clunkers. They do not need to be adjusted to run true.
To those that have used both, which is better and why? Does everyone want the old ones for setimental reasons?
I have not bought any new styles yet. I can say I am not impressed with the color selections. Looks like an art teacher had her 1st grade class paint them. Does anyone else like the new color schemes?

I have not used the new ones yet. Everybody that I have spoken to that have used them are not happy with them at all. I'm sure I will pick up a few to try. Many have not been happy with the Storm Line at all-cranks and colors. I am sure there are a few threads in the archives regarding Storm.
