anyone use a garmin188 or 2006 gps plotter?easy to read/use?

I use a 2010, same as 2006, just bigger. Extremely easy to use. I use it on Erie and map chip is great.
It's getting long in the tooth but works so good I hate change.

I use the 2010C ... like the prior poster said -- same unit, just bigger.

Fantastic unit. I have run it for 3 summers now without a problem. Probably used it 4 full weeks each summer.

When I buy my next boat that 2010C will come off my current boat and be put on my next boat.

If you can, get a color unit. Makes a LOT of difference in picking out hazards when you are running at speed. I have a Garmin 182 which I used prior to buying the 2010C. I still keep the 182 as a backup, but the black/white screen is no where near as user-friendly as the color -- VERY hard to pick hazards out in comparison with the color units.
