Need Help: Best Way to Remove Decals

What is the best way to remove decals from the hood of an out board motor? I want to replace the decals on my motor hood and am looking for suggestions on the best way to remove the old decals.

Use a hair dryer and peel them back. There might be some glue that need to be removed and WD40 can help that..........

like PJM stated. just be careful to not use anything that can scratch when removing or removing the glue.
