Just picked up an old Zercom Clearwater Classic. Has the original yellow backlight.
Anybody know how to put the EL2 backlight in it, or who can do it? Any old Zercom techs out there? Thanks. Russ.

Is there a Fishlectronics in your neck of the woods? If I remember correctly Jeff Zernov designed the
Clearwater Classic. I had one in the mid 90's and had the EL2 backlight installed by Zercom. I also remember a slight hum from the unit after having the backlight installed. Good Luck.

Fish Lectronics just told me they can't get parts.
