Just ordered the new rig today (yeah me). I plan on using my existing Pinpoint system on the new rig. Right now it is a 2700 motor and (1) 7520 graph. I have it rigged up on the console to read both the motor and transom 'ducers. Here is what I want to do:

1) Keep a 7520 on the console with motor and transom 'ducers (easy enough).
2) Be able to use another 7520 on the bow that sees both 'ducers. I think this one is easy too. You just hook up the 7520 to the only unused plugin that comes off the motor, right? The one that is not plugged into anything on my current setup? Supplies both power and both 'ducers?
3) Be able to use another 7520 on the aft while running a kicker. (No, I probably won't buy a 3rd 7520, but you guys get the point---three positions, two graphs). How do I manage this? what additional cables will I need to network and power this "3rd" unit?

Probably a simpler way to phrase it is...I am looking to run (3) 7520's on the same boat, having all of them read both the motor and transom 'ducers.

I think that it can be done, I just don't know how. And, if Matt from Thorne Bros reads this...what kinda sweet deal can I get on another 7520 and cables to get this setup done?! Hehehehe!

Thanks for the assist!

To network two or more Pinpoint sonars with Pinpoint Motor, 2000 or 3000 series motor.
To connect motor and two sonars- you will need to CBAY20 cable to connect the bow to the console. This cable has two 9 pin connectors on one end and one 6 pin connector on the other. one of the 9 pins will connect to the sonar cable out of the motor and the second one will connet to the bow sonar power connection. The 6 pin connector will connect to the 6 pin connection pigtail on the power cable on the console.

To connect the third sonar at the trasom, you will need a SYNC20 cable. this is simular to the CBAY, but all the connectors are 6 pin connectors. when hooking up to the above configuration, you will connect the SYNC20 cable into the 6 pin power connector on the console unit, and plug the 2 6 pin connector to the 6 pin on the CBAY cable. The 6 pin at the longer end of the SYNC20 cable will then connect to the power cable on the third unit.

I hope this helps, If you still have questions, please call Consumer affairs at 920-929-5040.
