A strip of the carpet type material has come loose from one of the bunk boards on my 2 year old trailer. What is the best way to repair/replace the material?

first, I'd get a spray can of 3M #80 rubber and vinyl spray adhesive (from Home Depot), and use that as the adhesive between the carpet and the bunk. Then, I'd get some stainless steel staples, and staple the carpeting to the bunk on the sides and bottom (but not where the hull slides on the top surface).
