I currently have ring free in my tank of gas and am set to winterize my boat. Will adding fuel stabilizer to the gas with the ring free screw things up ? Thanks, Jim

Just an FYI, I use both products at the same time per my dealers recommendation. No problems at all last year.

Go ahead, Jim.
No problem doing that.

Mostly I just use seafoam, it does the same job as ringfree and stabilizes gas for up to 2 years.

I've used both RingFree and Stabil for winter storage many years and no problems.

is there a difference between stabil and seafoam or is it just personal preference ? and now ringfree, what is that ?

There is a lot of difference between Stabil and Seafoam, just look at the ingredients. Also, Seafoam is a fuel stabilizer and injector, carburetor cleaner while Stabil is a fuel stabilizer only.
Ring Free is a Yamaha product and Yamaha recommends you use this with there four stroke motors to help keep carbon from building up on the pistons. Ring Free is not a fuel stabilizer.

There's a difference between Seafoam and Ringfree also.

Stabil.... a fuel preservative helps "keep" octane and slows the breakdown of the fuel and helps keep fuel systems from gunking up. (Yamaha fuel conditioner....does same) Use in 2 or four stroke.

Ringfree...injector cleaner, carbon remover, etc...use in 2 or 4 stroke.
not a fuel presrvative.

Seafom claims to do all of the above..
