Saginaw River

Any one doing any good on the river yet?:huh: Where is a good pleace to get minnows. We usually go to place south of the river off of M-13. Thanks

I'll reply to my own post. Fished the river yesterday and had fair luck. Ended up with 8 keepers- most very nice fish. Lots of small fish that won't measure 15 inches:cry:. The weather was beautiful. We caught fish at Wicks Park and down by Hooters. Cox's bait on Evon rd is open and does have minnows. Now we need some weather help or boat fishing maybe done for the year. Water temp was 35 degrees.

With the weather we have moving in for the next week and the water temp that low, you may be right about the open water fishing. Good to hear about the little guys in the system. Sounds good for future years. I caught very few small fish last summer in the Bay.
