We've all read the stories of the weather and contraversy. How was the fishin'? Would anyone recommend going there? Always looking for new places to fish. Thanks

It was fantastic. Most pros were catching 30-50 keepers a day. On day two, 110 of 129 pros weighed limits.
Be prepared to spend $60+ for a licence be treated rudely by the fish cops, keep only 4 fish with one over 18". Other wise it's not a bad place, no Erie but as rat holes go not too bad.

Me and another amateur went and fished Lake Oahe out of the spring creek area one day and the fishing was much better...bigger fish on average. I *think* the slot limit is more relaxed than Sharpe as well.

Me and my wife just got back. We fished the bluffs on Lake Sharpe, trolling shad raps. We fished for 2.5 hrs and caught close to 15 walleye and sauger. The biggest walleye was 19". Released all.
