what if you fish tournaments?

with my policy, as long as i don't make more than 50% (that's never happened yet) of my income from tournaments i have 500,000 lia. etc etc. other companies i've checked don't cover you if you fish tournaments.

This is exactly why I came to this site. There are a lot of companies that have restrictions in their policy wording and when will you find out what they are. You guessed it, when you have a claim. I think it is very important to educate my clients and explain to them the coverages they need. I just listen to how and where you use your boat and recommend coverages that are best suited for your needs. I have said it before. I insure every boat the exact way I would insure my own. Bob what company are you placing the insurance with? Is it an A rated company?

Joe, I represent a multitude of companies most of which are a+ rated. There are a lot of different situations that are factored into which carrier I use. The insureds experiance, loss history, driving record, state they live in ect. I quote every boat the exact way I would do it for myself. Thanks Bob Luellen
