I currently own a 2005 250 Verado, I was wondering if I could have it chipped up to a 275-300? Is that possible?

dewyg - when I win to lotto I'll get both of us Threeeeeeeee-fidties!!!

I like my 275. I didn't really care that much if it was a 250 or 275 prior to buying, but after having it, the extra in the 275 is good to have.

How's that boat treating ya? I thought you were going to be renewing by now?

I love it! I have 430hrs on it and it is still the same as when I bought it. I have the boat rigged the way I want it so I will keep it for a while. If a good deal came up I would take it but I have not seen anything in the classifieds that has interested me. I would like the extra hp if I could upgrade but I'm keeping it for a few more seasons. What are you running this year?

you can do it if you find a 275 computer off a wrecked 275...but no one yet is rechipping the verados as most people are still in warranty and it would void that.

I got tired of waiting for yours to come up for sale, so I got an 07 LE, single bubble. Not far behind ya on hours. Just took mine in to be winterized and some service work today. Oh well, it's only a few months and we'll be out again.

Okay here is the deal. I'm unable to rechip my motor/ I cannot get a new rating plate for my boat(only 250hp)/So the only thing I can do is sell my beloved LE.

Well, the folks at Lund & Mercury will certainly appreciate your new boat purchase! Are we thinking a 2075 w/ three-fifty? Yeah Baby!:driver:

I'm not sure! I finally have the boat set up exactly how I want it, I just wanted a little extra snap with the motor. I had custom storage boxes made for the boat long before they came up with it for the 2075, I think I might wait and see one more year. I was suprised that I could not put the new 275 on the boat.
