Has anyone used the daiwa sealines for salmon fishing and how have they held up?

we have used them for muskie trolling and they worked great, no problems. I know some charter capt that used them for trolling for salmon and no problem there either

Sealines are awesome reels, they will hold up without a doubt. I've used them for years fishing for walleye and steelhead and some salmon recently, you can't go wrong with Sealines, they are the standard trolling reel for most guys for any trolling application.

I have used them without issues for years - mono/braid/lead/wire, clickers wear out but drags are still good. best repeatable, affordable line counter out there

Well I have used them for Stripers and they are not too nice on the other end of the line. "They sure do pull hard on your string". LOL

And they are are doing great.

I have been using Sealines for Lake Ont salmon for the last 4 years, no issues what so ever, best linecounters for the price IMO.

Been using sealines for walleye and salmon on Lake Michigan since they came out. Never a burp. Most dependable reels in my boat.

the only complaint I have with them is some of the plastic lenses that cover the counter have popped off from the cheap glue they use. I have reglued them, but have lost a few.

Stop beating fish over the head with your linecounters :frypan:
