I am just courious to know if anyone has heard anything on Team Walleye. I haven't heard or read anything lately on their status. Would like to collect the Angler of the Year money they owe me sometime soon.

i think it is true that john brett was told by his attorney not to pay any of that money because if he does not he will have more money!!!

My partner and I were Co-Anglers of the year in Texas which doesn't mean much in the way of cash (I was more excited about possibly receiving a jacket!), but I know the pay out for some of the larger divisions was considerable. Is there any legal action that could be taken to recoup some of this money without spending it all in legal fees?

My partner and I have also been waiting for our check, but don't expect anything. It would be nice if we could get some information about their supposed "lawsuit". I talked to the tournament director from our area about a month ago, and he said he just got a couple E-mails from them last fall telling where and when to leave the truck, trailer, and other materials, and that was it. He was not at all happy with the situation either. I would assume that John Brett is still monitoring this board from his condo in the Bahamas, it would be nice to hear from him about this matter. At least he could tell us what the weather is like down there!
