Anybody got info on French Creek, crawford county PA. I'm think'in about a roadtrip up there this Saturday to check it out. How do you get there once on I-79 from Pittsburgh? Any bait shops for supplies? Thank you.

Excellent walleye and smallmouth fishing! Head up towards Cambridge Springs. Not sure about bait shops but fish where Conneaut Creek or Woodcock Creek flow into it. I got my biggest walleye from French Creek (near Cochranton) several years ago during Labor Day weekend. It measured 32.5 inches and it weighed 12 lbs. . French Creek is a gem of a fishery! Try a summer float trip sometime too.

where do you put in at? do you need a canoe or can you use a jonboat? thanks!!
