Hey Paul, try windsor, ontario it would be worth it just from the money exchange. The holiday inn might run you 50$ canadian, probably 30$ u.s./ nite and some small clean motels a little cheaper, maybe the rates may go up a little, but they were low following 9 11.If you stay in the city you have access to 3 good ramps, within 1/2 hour too 15 min. drive and you can fish any area of the river with ,anywhere from a few min. to 15 min ride on the water.Just a reminder though, the water is low, knock a couple feet off your deeps from most maps.Good luck good fishin if you need info let me know .

I just checked Travelocity.com. There were a lot of major motel chains showing up in Windsor (Best Western, Travelodge) for $45-50 a night.
