I have a LCX 17 on my dash and won a 510c this summer. I want to have both set up to run off the same transducer on my transom. What, if any, cables, adapters, etc. do I need to have both sonars running off the same transducer. I've looked and not sure if I need some sort of T-adapter and an extension cable. There's just too many options out there. I've also contacted Lowrance, but didn't get any information on specifics. If it helps, both use the blue connectors. I appreciate any information.

Huskr,
To do this you would need a transducer switch which would enable you to switch either unit to the transom transducer. You can get it from LEI Extras. I think it is the S10-BL which is $110.

The SB-7X may also work it is the older grey connector switch and is on clearance for $34. You can contact them to see which would work with your sonar combination.

Thanks for the info. So is there not a way to have both on at the same time running off of one transducer?

Nope
The newer units that have the Ethernet port can use a single transducer. The 510 has the Ethernet port but near as I can tell the X-17 does not. You can check it but they don't mention it on the Lowrance web site. I do have my X-27 and LMS-522 networked this way and it works great.
