I have a 2005 Yamaha 225 VMax HPDI. I was winterizing it yesterday. When I removed the plastic cover over the carb intakes, I noticed a small amount of what I believe is oil in the bottem of each. I believe it to be oil because it is the same color as the Yamalube I use. I haven't noticed it before. Should I be worried? Thanks and happy holidays.

All two-stroke motors have a bit of blow-back just before the reeds close as the crankcase comes up on compression. You can feel it by placing your hand close to the intake body.
Oil mist is mixed with the blow-back and that is what collects in the air box. A drain hose at the bottom vacuums up the residues as it collects over time.
Doing a lot of idling then tilting the motor up will also cause some oil to drip into the air box.
