The Army Corps of Engineers have revised their earlier estimate of "no change" and now predict that Great Lakes water levels will rise 5-8 inches this summer compared to last year.
That 5" in the Detroit River would have been all I needed last year to save my skeg. :-)

Homer,
I wrote you on an earlier post. I noticed that you worked it the area of water quality. I am in the same field and was wondering where you work and what exactly you do.
I am an Environmental Scientist with an engineering firm in Madison, Wis. I do water, soil, and air sampling with an emphasis on groundwater (PECFA, LUST). Just wondering what you did.
Take care,

I work for an engineering firm in Ann Arbor, MI, and our focus is on surface water quality.
