Anyone had problems with Minnkota U2 Sonar interference

Just wondering if any of you out there have had problems with your Minnkota Universal sonar 2. Specifically interference on the screen of your sonar?

If your talking about black lines on the screen when you step on the pedal, I have. Time to buy a new transducer and mount it the old fashioned way.

I have had minimal interference with my US2, I have had 4 different ones and I run the sensitivity high. I will get a few vertical blue lines rarely. One of the 4 would had one small spot on the throttle dial that would cause too much interference but a tiny adjustment in the throttle would fix it. The first US didn’t work for me so I used an external transducer.

There are a few different things that could cause this. How old is the motor, and what model?
